Robots are cool: an introduction to IOT for Javascript developers
Have you ever wanted to build a robot but didn't know where to start? Is there a project in your head that you'd love to build but you don't want to have to learn C/C++? Then this is the talk for you! In this session we will cover:
What a microcontroller is
How to program hardware with barely any C++
How to create a basic circuit that won't burn your house down
Troubleshooting your IoT project when it breaks
This talk will culminate in the building of an IoT doorbell that sends a message when a button is pressed.
